BeyDex Privacy Policy

BeyDex records the Beyblade X parts you own and lets you show your
combinations to friends.
BeyDex is made for children. We therefore collect as little as
possible and are explicit about what each piece of data is for.
What we collect

What we do not collect
- Name, address, phone number, email (except via Sign in with Apple — see below)
- Photos of real parts. Photos stay on your device. Only a
true/false "has a photo" flag is sent
- Location
- Contacts or photo library contents
- Advertising identifiers. There are no ads in this app
- Behavioural tracking. No data is shared with third parties
Accounts
On first launch an anonymous account is created automatically — no
name, no email. Children can play without typing anything.
Only if you want to move to a new device, you can Sign in with Apple
from the settings screen. Apple then gives BeyDex an anonymised
identifier and, only if you allow it, an email address. The email is
used solely to carry your data to a new device.
Who can see what
- Parts and medals: you, and people you connected with by friend code
- Published combinations: users of the app
- Unpublished combinations: you and your friends
- Nickname: you and your friends
There is no way to search for people by name. You connect only when
a friend code is handed over directly. Strangers cannot find you.
Where data is stored
Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted in Tokyo.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app does not delete server data. Contact us below to have
everything removed, including friend links.
For parents
Contact us to review or delete your child's data. The app shows no ads
and has no in-app purchases.

- Part images come from go-shoot (https://go-shoot.github.io/x/). The
photography and cut-outs are that site author's work, not ours.
If we are asked to take any of this down, we will do so promptly.
About the information shown
Part stats are read from images on the official product pages. They may be
misread or incomplete. Event listings may change or be cancelled after we
import them.
